My journey in the salvage business started when I was just about 14 years old. I started helping my father for some extra side money, I loved it so much that I kept it going. I started collecting metal as soon as I had my drivers license. When I just graduated high school I decided to make it a business. With a dream of one day providing for my family with a business I created, I grew. I started with a single pick up truck, ten years later that dream became a reality! 

Now, Hinston’s Salvage is processing over 1,000 tons of metal a year and growing. We have done it all from garage clean outs, real estate clean outs, department store clean out and entire junk yard clean outs.
